Position Title: On-Call Residential Counselors
Job Description: The On-Call Residential Counselor provides staff presence and resident support in asupportive living program for formerly homeless adults living with HIV/AIDS. The On-Call Residential Counselor is a member of the care team and available to the residents as needed to assist with resident care and support, emergency services as necessary, and on-site coordination of the program and facility during his or her shift. The On-Call Residential Counselor reports and is responsible to the Care Manager/Team Leader to whom he/she is assigned.
Position Title: Seasonal Part-time After School Instructor
Job Description: Responsible for teaching approximately 12-20 students (per class) in academic, arts, physical education and/or other enrichment related curriculum. This part-time, seasonal position operates from September/October to June, with interruptions relating to school breaks.
Position Title: Family Resource Center /Extended Day Services Manager
Job Description: Responsible for taking a leadership role in the agency’s program services management team to assess, plan, develop, evaluate, manage and oversee the Center for Youth’s Extended Day and Family Resource Center (FRC) programs at Sanchez and Betances schools. The Manager provides supervision, support and development of assigned extended day and FRC staff and volunteers at both sites, and provides site-based leadership and management at the Sanchez site.
Position Title: Care Manager/Team Leader
Job Description: Plays a lead role at Peter’s Retreat in the management of service planning and delivery for residents with HIV/AIDS living in a congregate setting, as well as for families and individuals in a scattered-site program. The Care Manager/Team Leader supervises several residential counselors/residential support staff and helps to coordinate the communication about resident care among three care management teams and other staff.
Position Title: Senior Program Assistant –Program Services
Job Description: Furthers the mission of Hands On Hartford by providing thoughtful, efficient and professional support of the agency’s program services in the following areas: program services data management, reporting, staff development, policies and procedures, as well as grants and contracts management. This staff member reports directly to the Director, Program Services.
